Zackery Sharp was born and raised in Northern California. From an early age, his interest in filmmaking had him shooting movies with his friends and, after graduating high school, he followed that interest in pursuit of a dual degree at Cal State Long Beach.
For the last of many college short films, Sharp enlisted Christian Slater to provide voice work. While graduating with honors, he made himself a versatile collaborator in assisting his fellow film students on short films for classes and festivals alike.
After college, Sharp diversified his experience, working as an English teacher and a community relations director. Never one to leave filmmaking behind, he created a TikTok series with a fellow filmmaker in his free time, totaling 26 verticals.
Sharp brings a flexible, team-oriented approach to each project, with experience across writing, producing, and directing. He continues to develop narrative work while collaborating with media creatives across both independent film and digital platforms.
